Welcome to TAILORED. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products and services (together, the "Service"). By browsing, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully — if you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns information, which are incorporated here by reference.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
An account is optional — you may check out as a guest. If you do create one, you are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- all activity that occurs under your account; and
- notifying us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Orders & Acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability; a confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the items to you.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order — including where a product is mispriced, out of stock, or where we suspect fraud — and to limit quantities. If we cancel an order you have paid for, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
4. Pricing & Payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as indicated. We take care to price accurately, but errors can occur; where a product is listed at an incorrect price we may cancel the affected order as set out above.
Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure, PCI-compliant checkout. We accept the cards and wallets displayed at checkout. For international orders, any customs duties or import taxes are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout and in our Shipping & Returns information. Estimated delivery dates are indicative and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide.
Complimentary standard shipping applies to orders over $150.
6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
We want you to love your pieces. Unworn items with their original tags may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method, subject to our returns process. Certain items (such as final-sale or personalised pieces) may be non-returnable, as noted on their product pages.
To start a return or exchange, visit your account or contact us. Refunds are processed once we receive and inspect the returned item. Full details are set out in our FAQ.
7. Products & Availability
We work to display our products — including colours and materials — as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that your device renders them faithfully. Slight variations are natural, particularly with natural fibres and hand-finished pieces.
All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — including the TAILORED name and logo, text, imagery, graphics, editorial, design and software — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- breach any applicable law or infringe the rights of others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- interfere with the Service's operation or security; or
- use the Service to transmit unlawful, fraudulent or harmful material.
We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms.
10. User Content
If you submit content — such as a product review, comment or photo — you retain ownership of it, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and reproduce it in connection with the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and does not infringe the rights of others.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TAILORED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights or our liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or the law. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
